The Infinite Women Podcast is an American-Australian podcast that highlights lost women’s stories and accomplishments. The host Allison Tyra was kind enough to ask me to be a guest on the podcast and talk about my foremothers in the context of documentation. Because less information about women was registered and archived, it is much harder to find stories about women’s daily lives. When you do find information, it can be surprisingly different from what registers and censuses have documented. This is also the case for my foremothers. In this podcast I discuss interesting women from my whole family tree, not only the matrilineal line. Have a listen, I hope you enjoy it!
