When will I be forgotten?

From my foremother Margo are no pictures left, just a few short documents prove that she has ever lived. Before I dug them up, she was already long forgotten. I eventually made an old type photograph of who I thought she was. How much time do we have, after our deaths, before we suffer the same fate? Sure, there are photo’s of us, but some day no one will know who the person in the pictures was. They will throw them out or, more likely, delete them.

Technique: Talbottype (salt type) photograph, coloured pencil

Size: 15x21 cm (ex frame and passepartout)
